Blogging has changed the way I think about traditional paper letters. For example, I’m working on a letter for families who missed our informational meeting about the Workcamp. I can’t include all the information from the meeting because no one would read it. The easiest thing to do would be to include links to other information, but that doesn’t work so well in print.
So I’d like to see someone make electronic paper the same cost as regular paper. Then we could have links to additional information, just like on blogs.
Now you might be thinking, “Why not just use email?” I’ll send an email too, but it seems like email is increasingly unreliable as people fall behind in email and never reach inbox zero. Maybe it’s true about physical mail also between credit card offers and other junk mail. Maybe there’s just too much noise in general in our life.
