Walking the line between nerd and cool.

Dinner Designs

This Thursday, we hit the home stretch for Cornerstone. Because of the way the school/church schedule falls, we end up going like gangbusters up until Christmas, then meet only a few times after that. Our last two classes are on the Lord’s Supper. Here are the backgrounds we’re using for the series:

Communion Title

Communion Bar High

Communion Bar Middle

Communion Blank

Communion Verse

You may recognize the communion set in the photo. We used it one Sunday at church as part of a weekend reporting on the National Youth Gathering. Sue and I each received a set for serving on the Gathering Planning Team. They were commissioned especially for the Gathering.

  1. What program did you use to make the slides?

  2. Thanks for stopping by Jeremy! I use The GIMP (gimp.org) for the graphic design work. It’s a free software that does much of what Photoshop does for the kind of work I’m doing. I also use AMP Font Viewer (ampsoft.net) for looking for the right font to use for a given text on the title slide.
