Waiting
And waiting and waiting. Addison will be here soon, but not soon enough for us! It’s hard waiting for it to happen. I know it will change our lives and we’ll be going for weeks or months with way less sleep than normal, but we want it to come already.
I imagine the Israelites felt the same about the Messiah.
Hang in there – soon enough you won’t remember life without her!

I know that you are filled with anticipation and waiting and hoping for an early arrival, however, a few days late is also an option to be prepared (at least psychologically) to deal with.

Although waiting can be very difficult, it is also a good exercise in patience. And I think the waitng in such anticipation really builds up the appreciation of her arrivial once she does come. Soon, Jason and Jaime, soon!

Okay, I’m down with all that encouraging “waiting builds character” stuff and fully see the truth in it. But I tend to be in the “waiting stinks” category. Especially waiting for fun stuff.
Hang in there and don’t think about the due date – it doesn’t really help.

I agree, Eric. Waiting stinks!
Thanks for the encouragement everyone!
